USA Rice Federation Apprentice Chef of the Year

The award seeks to recognise a student who is passionate in the craft, excels in their culinary studies and is eager to put their studies to practice.

Submission Criteria: 
  • Submissions are open to current students in culinary-related courses, who are graduating some time in the next 6 months.
  • Applicants who are current students must have no prior working experience.
  • Applicants must have no more than five years of experience including culinary studies; culinary related internship experience and graduate professional work regardless of applicant’s age.
  • Applicants would be required to participate in the Apprentice Chef Challenge.
  • One letter of reference from lecturer with his/her contact details required.
