Li Si graduated from At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy with a diploma in culinary craft and service excellence. After receiving the WSQ outstanding culinary apprentice award in the World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence 2009, Li Si embarked on her culinary journey training and working alongside established chefs in Singapore, Spain and Dubai. Li Si started working in Iggy’s for 2 years before moving to San Sebastian, Spain to work in Mugaritz, a 2 Michelin starred restaurant. During her time in Mugaritz (2012), she worked in both the service and production kitchen moving through different stations and was given the opportunity to return for the next season to work in the R&D kitchen (2013). After her adventures in Spain, Li Si returned to Iggy’s as Chef De Partie. The following year, Li Si moved to Dubai to open restaurant Zengo as Sous Chef with Chef Akmal Anuar. After spending 2.5 years in Dubai, Li Si returned to Singapore and joined Bam! Restaurant as Chef De Cuisine.
