Hailing from Philippines, Adrian Besa graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and has been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. He has also garnered several accolades in numerous cocktail mixing and flair bartending competitions. He started his bartending career in his native Philippines and assumed the role of a bartender at Bruno and Diego Bar and Grill. In 2007, he moved to Singapore and began his first stint in the hotel industry with Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore as a trainee. He took up bartending role at Golden Crown China Hotel in Macau, and then worked as Assistant Wine Sommelier at Fairmont Singapore prior to starting his career with Mandarin Oriental, Singapore as Assistant Restaurant and Lounge Manager at Dolce Vita, one of the dining establishments in the hotel.
He later moved on and assumed the role of Assistant Bar Manager at MO BAR and most recently promoted to Bar Manager where he oversees the daily operations of the bar and concocts new cocktails. With a jovial personality, Adrian loves to interact with guests and personalise the experiences according to their individual preferences. He has a strong interest towards flair bartending which he sees it as an avenue to engage with guests and at the same time, bringing the bartending community together with the exchange of skills and styles. Adrian is an adventurous person who loves motorsports and is an avid fan of photography.
