Britt is a passionate young individual with extensive knowledge in food and wine, garnered from over 7 years of restaurant experience. Britt first ventured into the F&B business in 2010 right after graduating from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Armed with a strong passion for the restaurant business, he took the path less travelled by taking up his first job as a Service Attendant in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The passion for wines and sommelierie comes later when he had the opportunity to train under some of the best Sommeliers in Singapore at that time.
Over the years he has worked for chefs like Daniel Boulud and Gordon Ramsay, developing his craft of curating award-winning wine lists. He is also a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators USA and a holder of WSET Level 3 Advanced Certification. He has won multiple awards throughout his career, including Malaysia's Best Sommelier 2019 & 2014 and Asia's Best Sommelier in French Wines 2016. Adding to his award list is the SOPEXA’s Asia Best Sommelier in French Wines 2019.
