    Whitegrass, under the helm of Head Chef Takuya Yamashita, showcases classic French fare with a contemporary Japanese twist. The menu at Whitegrass focuses on using the freshest seasonal produce to create dishes that are respectful of nature while remaining gastronomically refined. Located under the Caldwell House of historical CHIJMES in Singapore, the restaurant is outfitted with stylish fixtures and dining ware that adds a contemporary juxtaposition to the heritage vibe.  Upon entering, the waiting lounge greets the guests with its delicate wines, sakes and spirits on the dark wooden counter and exquisite chiller that characterize the space. The round private dining room is filled with natural daylight, while the round carpet and colourful furniture alluding to a warm and cosy dining experience. On the other part of the restaurant, the room is decorated with ornate wallpaper, marble tables and armrest chairs, exuding the relaxed chicness. Apart from the affable environment that makes one feel at home, guests also get to see the chefs in action through the glass window, ensuring the freshness and quality of the food
