Executive Chef Mandar Madav is responsible for the smooth running of all kitchen operations at Conrad Centennial Singapore. Prior to his move to Singapore in February 2018, he was the Executive Chef of Conrad Pune, India. After completing a hotel management course at Rizvi college, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India he went on to train at Oberoi Center of Learning and Development where he demonstrated mastery in the culinary arts, and was awarded the golden ribbon for the best chef for both Indian and Western cuisine. Before taking charge as Executive Chef of Conrad Pune, India in 2015, Chef Mandar’s exacting standards saw him move through the ranks from Commis de Cuisine and Chef de Partie to Kitchen Executive and Chef de Cuisine as well as Executive Sous Chef. 11 years after walking into his first professional kitchen, Chef Mandar’s impressive career has seen him work and manage operations in hotels across India including New Delhi, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Pune. Chef Mandar speaks English, Hindi and Marathi. In his leisure time, he enjoys photography and honing his culinary skills.
