    Shannon Batten was appointed as Executive Chef of Hilton Singapore in April 2020 to oversee all culinary aspects of the hotel including four innovative dining outlets, large banquet and catering events as well as the daily culinary operations and leads a kitchen brigade of 53. Batten embarked on his culinary journey at a young age of 18 years old and brings a wealth of over 21 years of international experiences across various countries, award-winning establishments, resorts and hotels at Auckland New Zealand, Edinburgh Scotland, Brisbane Australia, Maldives and now, Singapore.
     
    Batten never fails to impart his knowledge and invaluable experiences to the team. His last appointment in 2017 was with Conrad Rangali Maldives where he oversaw seven key restaurants including the very first all glass undersea restaurant and contributed significantly to custom-designed private villa menus. Since his appointment in April 2020, Batten has been integral to the daily culinary operations, setting as a role model for the culinary brigade, adopt new challenges with the team and continue the legacy of responsible sourcing and sustainability at Hilton Singapore.
