An individual who is age 28 or younger and/or have acquired minimum 2 years of wine service experience in a restaurant/ hotel who displays skills, passion and outstanding knowledge, is driven to raise the standards of wine service to greater heights.
* Eligible nominees must be working in Singapore as an ASSISTANT SOMMELIER for at least ONE YEAR (at the point of nomination).
The recipient will be awarded with the Provins Wine Scholarship program which will take place in Switzerland.
Semi Finalists and Finalists will be required to go through 2 assessments in Round 2 and 3;
In the written exam, theoretical knowledge will be tested in areas of viticulture, viniculture, laws and regulations, global awareness of regions and producers, wine list corrections…etc. with a focus on Swiss Wine.
Wine Tasting Assessment
This assessment will include a tasting assessment of wines.
