Application Evaluation
Review of applications by The Tourism Academy @ Sentosa.
Qualified applicants will move on to the written assessment

Written Assessment (9 January 2010)
Written assessment will be conducted for all six scholarships.

Written Assessment Evaluation
Marks will be tabulated and the top five candidates for each category with the highest score in the written assessment will qualify for the practical assessments.

Briefing Sessions for Practical Assessment
Briefing sessions will be conducted to prepare the top five candidates for the practical assessment process.

Practical Assessment (27 February 2010)
The culinary and ptisserie scholarship candidates are required
to prepare two dishes for a simulated restaurant environment. The wine
scholarship candidates will go through a blind tasting session and service
assessment. Together, they will serve a three-course meal paired
with wines to the industrial experts

Personal Interview Session (27 February 2010)
The top five scholarship applicants will undergo a personal interview with the industry experts after the Practical Assessment.

Evaluation
Marks for the practical assessment and personal interview
will be tabulated.

Press Conference
Selected candidates for each category will be announced at the Awards Of Excellence 2010 press conference.

Awards Presentation
Highest scoring finalist in each category will be presented the award at the Awards Reception held within World Gourmet Summit.
