Headed and owned by the untiring Chef Chan Chen Hei, Chef Chan’s Restaurant has found it’s home in the newly-renovated National Museum of Singapore. This location is apt as Chef Chan is known not just for his culinary skills but most importantly, his deep knowledge of traditional art and calligraphy. The restaurant transports guests back into the heart of China, with it’s intricate oriental décor and dining room adorned with ancient Chinese artifacts, many of which are part of the chef’s private collection. With more than 30 years of cooking experience behind him, Chef Chan brings his guests on an epicurean journey of distinctly Chinese flavours, changing all-time favourites like shark’s fin, roast chicken and beef tenderloin into gourmet delights to whet the appetites of even the most discerning gourmets.
