and F&B professionals to nominate for the various
categories.
Evaluation

Nominations are collected and tabulated. The top five
nominees (based on the number of nominations collected
) for each category are established and will proceed
to the next round of assessment.

Round of Nomination
(30 Oct 06 – 30 Nov 06)
Second round nomination forms
containing the top five nominees in each category
are sent out to 100 selected jury members.

(1 Dec 06 – 8 Dec 06)
Nominations are collected and tabulated. The top three
nominees (based on the number of nominations collected
) for each category are established and will proceed
to the next round of assessment.
Third
Round of Nomination
(27 Dec 06 – 31 Jan 07)
A panel of 50 selected jurors will deliberate on the
three (or more, depending on the number of nominations
collected ) finalists and select the most deserving
as the award recipient. Results will be submitted
to an independent auditor for verification.
Evaluation
(1 Feb 07 – 8 Feb 07)
Auditor will verify the score of each finalist, affirming
that the highest scoring finalist in each category
is rightly conferred as the Award Recipient.

Conference (7 Mar 07)
Award finalists for each category will be announced
at the Awards of Excellence 2007 press conference.
Awards
Presentation (21 April 07)
The highest scoring finalist in each category will
be presented the award at the Awards Luncheon held
within the World Gourmet Summit.

will assess the finalists in each category to select a
grand Award Recipient. Results will be submitted to an
independent auditor for verification.

Auditor will verify the score of each finalist. The highest
scoring finalist in each category will be conferred the
title of Award Recipient for the respective awards.

Briefing sessions will be conducted to prepare the top
five candidates for the practical assessment process.
Practical
Assessment (10 Feb 06)
The culinary and patisserie scholarship candidates are
required to prepare two dishes for a simulated restaurant
environment. The wine scholarship candidates will go through
a blind tasting session and service assessment.

Personal
Interview Session (10 Mar 07)
The top five scholarship applicants will undergo a personal
interview.
