de Lalande, the inaugural World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence
Wine Scholarship will be launched this April 7, at the Awards
of Excellence Presentation!
This scholarship
is established for aspiring wine professionals who are eager
for self-improvement, personal development and possess the
potential to grow in the food and beverage profession.
Specially
structured for aspiring wine talents, the awarded scholar
will have the opportunity to spend 4 weeks in Bordeaux during
the next harvest at various chateaux, including Château
Rauzan Ségla, Château Canon, Château Cos
d'Estournel and Château Pichon-Longueville, Comtesse
de Lalande.
The
Winner will receive:
- Spend
4 weeks with various chateaux in Bordeaux during the next
harvest
The World
Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence was launched in April
2001, with the aim of recognising the untold efforts and passion
of the food and beverage professionals. The Awards were inspired
by Michelin Guide in France and James Beard Foundation in
the United States. It was established to celebrate the spectrum
of talents in Asia who have achieved a distinct reputation
for providing world class dining experiences, and serve as
a benchmark for excellence in service, creativity and the
best in every field. It also serves as an aspiration and incentive
for the young and aspiring food and beverage professionals.
These awards are envisaged to become the quality benchmark
for the Food and Beverage industry.
