award seeks to recognize a journalist or a group of journalists
who have written an outstanding article, which reflects and
promotes the quality, variety and depth of the wines and wine
trends around the world in the majority of its editorial content.
This
award encompasses nominations from Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong
Kong and Thailand.

1996, Lim has been lending his expertise as a training officer
to food & beverage services and special projects for Singapore
Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC). He lectures part-time
for America Hotel & Motel Association courses (Bar and Beverage
Operation). Before Lim joined Wine & Dine as a wine writer,
he was assistant manager at Peter Knipp Holdings and was responsible
for formulating and coordinating food & beverage projects
and events. Currently, Lim aspires to complete his Diploma in
Wine & Spirit by the end of this year and further expand
the content of wine column of the Wine & Dine magazine. |

Copeland is a wine writer/broadcaster and wine consultant. He
has also been a senior wine judge in competitions in Europe,
United States and South East Asia since 1997, including last
year's Sonoma County Wine Fair held in California and the Japan
Wine Competition. He is currently the wine & spirits editor
for Asian Hotel and Catering Times and contributes to other
newspapers and magazines such as Business Monthly and Shanghai
Times. His publishing records also include researching and writing
articles for The Ultimate Encyclopaedia of Wine and the Sunday
Telegraph Good Wine Guide. |
