organised by Peter Knipp Holdings Pte Ltd and Singapore Tourism
Board, in partnership with Le Cordon Bleu and Temasek Polytechnic,
the inaugural World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence
Scholarship will be launched this April 7, at the Awards
of Excellence Presentation!
This
scholarship for culinary studies is established for
aspiring culinary professionals who are eager for self-improvement,
personal development and possess the potential to grow in
the culinary and food and beverage profession.
Specially
structured for aspiring culinary talents, the winner will
have the opportunity to participate in a specialised course
from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Sydney.
The
Winner will receive:
- 10-week
Le Cordon Bleu Intermediate Cuisine Course - Certificate
II in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) at Le Cordon Bleu,
Sydney
The
World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence was launched
in April 2001, with the aim of recognising the untold efforts
and passion of the food and beverage professionals. The Awards
were inspired by Michelin Guide in France and James Beard
Foundation in the United States. It was established to celebrate
the spectrum of talents in Asia who have achieved a distinct
reputation for providing world class dining experiences, and
serve as a benchmark for excellence in service, creativity
and the best in every field. It also serves as an aspiration
and incentive for the young and aspiring food and beverage
professionals. These awards are envisaged to become the quality
benchmark for the Food and Beverage industry.
