He/She would be a visionary who is constantly striving for higher standards and contributing ideas to shape the growth of the Food & Beverage and Culinary industry.

Raffles International
Hailed by many as one of the most brilliant minds in the food & beverage industry, M P S Puri previously reigned at Raffles International as director of food & beverage and was accredited with the establishment's success. In 2000, he was at the helm of the opening team for the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore where he was the chief operations officer. He is now involved in the management of the operating performance of hotels under the Raffles International portfolio. He was voted Wine & Dine's Food & Beverage Man of the Year five years ago. Puri also belongs to some of the world's most prestigious food and wine clubs such as Commanderie De Bordeaux, Confrerie De Chavalier Du Tastevin and the Global Hoteliers Club.

Andrew Tjioe,
President, CEO
Tung Lok Group
Andrew Tjioe is highly recognised for his foresight and keen business acumen. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1980 and co-founded Tung Lok Restaurant four years later. Well respected in the food & beverage industry, the Institute of Management, and Singapore Productivity & Standards Board (PSB) has also honoured him with the International Management Action Award (IMAA) for visionary and entrepreneurial management. To date, the Tung Lok Group has expanded to more than 20 restaurants in Singapore and two in Jakarta. Tjioe was awarded with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration by Winconsin International University in 2001 and was named the Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year 2001 at the Tourism Awards organised by Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

Dr N.K. Yong
International Wine & Food Society
Dr N K Yong joined the International Wine and Food Society (IWFS), Singapore, in 1982, and was chairman of the Council of Management of the IWFS from October 1992 to October 1996. He is also currently the honorary secretary of Asian-Pacific Zone Committee (APZC) and editor of the APZC newsletter.

For his distinguished service to the IWFS, Dr Yong was awarded the Andre Simon Silver Medal of the Society in November 1989 and the Andre Simon Gold Medal in April 1998. He was conferred the award of Officier de l'Ordre du Merite Agricole by the French Government in December 1989. Dr Yong was admitted into the Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin of Burgundy in 1988 and into the Commanderie du Bontemps de Medoc et des Graves in Bordeaux, as well as the Jurade de Saint-Emilion, Saint-Emilion in June 1989.
