The hospitality and food & beverage arena have always been an amazing foundation of creativity and immense challenges. This industry alone has generated myriad business potentials as well as employment opportunities beyond figures. The key elements that create this dynamic industry are none other than the people who have committed their precious time, hard work and boundless creativity to produce only the best results.

In recognition of this untold efforts and passion of these key players - that is both the managers and the workers; World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence has been created. The Awards is conceptualised and co-organised by Singapore Tourism Board and Peter Knipp Holdings with an aim to celebrate the spectrum of talents who have achieved a distinct reputation for providing world class dining and wining experiences. The event practices stringent judging standards and will single out only the best contenders in the food and beverage as well as the hospitality field as finalists. The Awards of Excellence will present sixteen prestigious awards to the paramount of the industry which will include regional categories such as the Culinary Institution of the Year, Wine Article of the Year and Asian Cuisine Article of the Year.
