This award is presented to a F&B Manager who has successfully managed and responsible for at least 2 outlets and banquet facilities in a hotel environment. He must also have a professional disposition, as well as the ability to project a professional image for its group of outlets.

As food & beverage manager of Raffles Hotel, Sjefke Jansen juggles a multitude of responsibilities. After having worked in major cities around the world, which includes Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Australia and Germany, Jansen took up the position as food & beverage manager at Raffles Hotel. Overseeing 19 outlets and 300 service staff is no easy task, but Jansen took the challenge in his stride and is also responsible for organising the various food promotions, marketing and sales of the food & beverage department as well as the day to day operations.

As director of food & beverage at Conrad Centennial Singapore, Cheong Hai Poh runs five major operating outlets and has 197 staff under his supervision. His wealth of experience includes being a training officer at SHATEC and the assistant food & beverage manager in Orchard Hotel, Singapore. He has been nominated as president of Food & Beverage Managers' Association (FBMA), and has initiated an alliance among FBMA, Hospitality Purchasing Association and Association of Singapore Housekeepers.

Gottfried Bogensperger
Director of F&B
Grand Hyatt, Singapore

Gottfried Bogensperger has been with the Hyatt group in South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico and subsequently Singapore for 13 years. Formerly the executive chef of Grand Hyatt Singapore in 1999, Bogenserger made his way to be the director of food & beverage the following year. Bogensperger is responsible for the day-to-day running of all food & beverage outlets. In recognition of his dedication, Bogensperger has been awarded the Food & Beverage Excellence title thrice by Hyatt International Corporation.
